Beetroot "Hearts" Salad

Valentine's day is just around the corner, me friend Assia has inspired me with that romantic beet salad, and I am telling you it is to die for!

Beetroot "Hearts" Salad
  • 2 medium beets, scrubbed clean
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • salad greens
  • balsamic or white vinegar 

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees, 180 c. Place a sheet of aluminum foil on a baking sheet. Top with a piece of parchment paper. Place beets on parchment paper, drizzle with about a tablespoon of olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Wrap paper and aluminum foil around the beets and bake for 60-90 minutes, or until beets are tender to the point of a knife. Let cool completely.

2. Toss salad greens with balsamic or white vinegar. Slice beets about 1/4 inch thick. Use a small cookie cutter to cut out heart shapes. Arrange on plates with salad greens.

  • Una barbabietola grande giĆ  cotta.
  • Sale e pepe qb
  • olio extra vergine d'oliva


Potete aggiungere dei bocconcini di mozzarella a questa insalata.
